Day 1 - MELBOURNE/AUCKLAND/VANCOUVER

Today, we make our way to Vancouver with Air New Zealand (stopover in Auckland). Upon arrival into Vancouver, your trusty local guide will be on hand to greet you and once we have loaded up our bus, we will check into our hotel for a short rest and then come back out for our first welcome dinner together. We will also have a bit of time to visit Stevenston Fisherman's Wharf - Wander around a floating dockside walkway in Steveston that threads between the fishing boats along with the landing boardwalk of gift shops and restaurants. Also, Stevenston Fisherman’s Wharf area is a popular location for filming both movies and television show.

Day 2 - VANCOUVER ISLAND

Today, we take the BC Ferry across the strait of Georgia to British Columbia Provincial Capital, Victoria which is located on Vancouver Island. Here, we will visit the oldest Chinatown in Canada, the Legislative building and the national historic site, Empress Hotel. We will also have entry to the famous Butchart Gardens, home to hudreds of varieties of flowers. Back to Vancouver in the afternoon.

Day 3 - VANCOUVER/KAMLOOPS/CLEARWATER

This morning we drive to Hope, located in the Frazer Valley which was famous for Sylvester Stallone's Rambo movie, 'First Blood'. We then stop into the city of Kamloops, which is the Ginseng capital of Canada. Afterwards our journey will take us into Wells Gray Provincial Park - here we visit Helmcken Falls and Dawson Falls. Tonight, we spend the night in Clearwater.

Day 4 - CLEARWATER/JASPER/HINTON

After our breakfast we will visit Mount Robson, the second oldest park in British Columbia. It is truly one of the world’s crown jewels and has the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Other highlights today include Jasper National Park to visit Medicine Lake, Maligne Lake and Maligne Canyon. Overnight in the township of Hinton.

Day 5 - HINTON/ICEFIELD PARKWAY/BANFF

A very busy day is arranged for our group today and serves as one of the highlights on this trip! Stops include Athabasca Falls, Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier and Banff National Park. Not to mention, we will also drop into Columbia Ice Field and hop onto a giagantic Ice Explorer and walk along the Skywalk. Tonight, we settle into the sleepy township of Banff, often regarded as Little Switzerland.

Day 6 - BANFF/LAKE LOUISE/BANFF

This morning we ride a gondola up Sulphur Mountain and from the viewing platform at an altitude of 2,350 meters, you will have a magical 360 degree view of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Other stops today include Bow River Falls and Lake Moraine. Another highlight of this tour is Lake Louise- known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. We also invite you to walk along the scenic trail of Johnston Canyon - The views here are truly remarkable. Back to Banff Town in the evening.

Day 7 - BANFF/GOLDEN/SALMON ARM

We depart Banff this morning and make our way towards Vernon. Stops today include Emerald Lake, Natural bridge, Rogers Pass and the site of the Last Spike. The Last Spike is a historical site symbolling the completion of Canadian Pacific Railway dated back in 1885.

Day 8 - SALMON ARM/KELOWNA/VANCOUVER

As we finally exit the Rocky Mountains and make our way back to Vancouver, we'll firstly drop into the city of Kelowna - located in Okanagan Valley, on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake surrounded by provincial parks, pine forest, vineyards, orchards and mountains. We'll visit Okanagan Lake, Okanagan Valley and spend a bit of time in the city town. We will also get a chance to visit Summerhill Winery - Canada's largest organic winery for a free tasting of its' award-winning red and white ice wines. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 9 - VANCOUVER CITY TOUR

A full day to explore Vancouver as your guide will take you on a city tour! Highlights today include Stanley Park, Totem Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Queen Elizabeth Park, Chinatown and also Gas town. Tonight, we will have our final group dinner before we board our Celebrity X cruise the next day.

Day 10 - VANCOUVER/BOARD CRUISE

Free time in the morning until our scheduled time to board the Solstice of the Seas cruise ship. Once on board, enjoy lunch and your tour leader will provide more information on what can be done.

Day 11 - AT SEA

A whole day on the cruise ship where you have a chance to explore the wonderful facilities on offer.. Watch out for whales, seals, porpoises, sea otters and much more as you cruise along at sea!! Overnight stay on cruise.

Day 12 - ARRIVE ICY STRAIT POINT (ALASKA)

For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located near the city of Hoonah, and home to a historic cannery, Icy Strait Point also offers travellers the chance to view wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears, or to explore monuments to the region's fishing heritage.

Day 13 - ARRIVE SKAGWAY (ALASKA)

Located on the edge of the wilderness, this small town saw its fair share of gold rush, get rich dreamers pass through. Today, it’s residents are more than welcome to share the stories of its untamed past. And there’s so much fascinating history to uncover on a visit to Skagway.

Day 14 - CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM AND THEN ARRIVE JUNEAU (ALASKA)

As you sail through its 30-mile-long stretch of Endicott arm, you can’t help but be amazed by the untouched beauty of the surrounding granite mountains, verdant valleys and numerous waterfalls. Drifting icebergs, deep blue waters and a spectacular tidewater glacier only add to this natural spectacle’s appeal. Endicott Arm Fjord ends with a front-row view of the striking Dawes Glacier. You arrive into Juneau just after lunch. Alaska’s remote state capital is the perfect place to dive into nature. Framed by Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts, the city’s picturesque central area offers centuries-old bars, boutique shops and historical landmarks.

Day 15 - ARRIVE KETCHIKAN

Also known as 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles.

Day 16 - AT SEA

We hope you get a chance to enjoy your final night on board the Celebrity Solstice before you dock back into Vancouver tomorrow.

Day 17 - VANCOUVER/AUCKLAND

Your ship arrives into Vancouver this morning and after disembarkation, your Vancouver guide will help you use up some time before our late night flight back home. First stop is Granville Island Public Market for you to explore and arrange own lunch. This place is one of the most beloved public spaces in Vancouver and is viewed as a premier artistic and cultural hub. Afterwards, we will drive to McArthurGlen shopping outlet for a few hours of retail therapy. Our scheduled flight with Air New Zealand will depart later tonight.

Day 19 - AUCKLAND/MELBOURNE

Your overnight flight arrives back into Auckland this morning and not long after, you will board your connecting flight back to Melbourne. We hope you had an incredible journey and hope to see you again.
